Thanks to all these sites that helped me to research the History of Jive. They don't all agree - but who knows what really happened back then!
Be especially wary of American sites that describe Modern Jive; since it is only just starting to spread across the US it is not always well understood!
It becomes obvious after doing a little research that most articles are biased by the background and dance styles of the writer. I have tried to avoid bias in my article, and only to include material validated from multiple sources, but you can probably tell that my favourite Jive is Modern Jive!
