Jango DVD now available from modernjive.com

Add a touch of drama and class to your Modern Jive with this exclusive workshop DVD!

Amir and Kate guide you through the fundamentals and flash moves of this exciting new fusion of jive and tango, ensuring you stand out on the dance floor with sexy slides and fancy footwork.  With over 90 minutes of detailed instruction you are guaranteed a dancing guide you will come back to again and again.

This comprehensive DVD includes the exclusively filmed theatre performance of the acclaimed cabarets Big Spender and All That Jazz, and includes detailed tuition on style, technique and moves normally only available in limited number workshops.

What is Jango?
Jango is a unique fusion of Modern Jive with Argentinean Tango. It allows you to dance intricate footwork patterns as well as turns, twists, and arm styling. You will recognise many movements from Modern Jive, but with a big difference: there is a very clear lead and follow of the footwork through out, which creates a strong connection and a smooth and elegant style. You will also recognise many tango steps and moves, but in a more open and relaxed style, using a more malleable embrace that can shift into turns, pretzels and baskets!

The important foundation moves, that allow you to mix Modern Jive moves with tango moves easily, are on this amazing DVD.

You can see the full contents list and order the DVD online at http://www.modernjive.com/videos-Jango.html

Last year when I listed the 2007 event I said "
"every style" - hmm… can't see any Ceroc/LeRoc/Modern Jive on the schedule - hopefully someone will fix that for next year!"  Well, somebody took notice, and this year Christine Keeble is organising a shared Modern Jive / LeRoc exhibition stand.  Christine says "Well known Modern Jive champions will be performing on stage and the Modern Jive workshops will provide taster classes. From our exhibition stand we will distribute thousands of leaflets with information on where to dance Modern Jive so if you want your club to be included please contact us as soon as possible." If you want to participate please contact Christine at christine.keeble@wanadoo.fr as soon as possible.

Christine has been a major contributor to Modern Jive since it began - see http://www.modernjive.com/history/history1.html and http://www.howtojive.com/about.htm
