"Dance with all the might of your
body, and all the fire of your soul, in order that you may shake all
melancholy out of your liver; and you need not restrain yourself with
the apprehension that any lady will have the least fear that the
violence of your movements will ever shake anything out of your
brains." Lola Montez, "Hints to Gentlemen or the Art of Fascinating"

Please let me know of any errors in
the maps at http://www.modernjive.com

your area.
The feedback I am getting says that they are a great
way to finding new places to dance during the week.

My apologies
if you sent me information and I haven't added it to the

Male Dancer Needed
in Capetown
From Helen Els (Ceroc Dance South Africa):
We have an opportunity out here for a male Ceroc or Modern Jive dancer
in Cape Town.
There is a female doctor down there who competed in the Ceroc Champs in
the UK and is planning to start classes in Capetown. I am
training her in July and she is looking for a keen sidekick who might
like to spend four months from August helping her get started.
It won't pay loads but I think there might be some cheap accomodation
on offer, a weekly allowance and loads of dancing.
If you are interested then email me at cerochq@gmail.com.

Message from StylzJive:
Our second Modern Jive Mediterranean Cruise (2nd July 2009) is going
well and we have
various dancers from around the UK who want to go on the cruise and
would be interested in sharing a cabin to reduce costs - for example we have a
lady in Bournemouth who wants to go for 14 nights; flights are available
from
regional airports.
If you are interested in the cruise and in sharing a cabin, please
contact derekdavies@ukonline.co.uk.
